About Whisk AI Labs
Our Mission
Whisk AI Labs is an independent educational resource dedicated to helping creators, designers, and enthusiasts understand and get the most out of Google Labs' Whisk AI image generator. We provide in-depth tutorials, feature guides, prompt engineering tips, and the latest news about AI-powered image generation.
We started this site in 2023 when Whisk first appeared as a Google Labs experiment. At the time, there was almost no independent coverage of the tool — just a few brief mentions in tech blogs. We saw an opportunity to create something more useful: a dedicated resource that tests every feature, documents every style, and explains how the technology actually works in plain language.
Since then, we've published over 20 articles across 25 languages, covering everything from beginner tutorials to technical breakdowns of how Gemini and Imagen 3 power the image generation process. Our goal is to be the most helpful, accurate, and up-to-date resource for anyone using or curious about Whisk AI.
